Ugh I really hate how they do their stouts with this company its always so boozy with pure ethanol in the flavor. Still a maple bacon beer got me curious into a pint glass. The head on this one fizzes out incredibly fast leaving just a lace ring after just a few minutes. Beer itself is a pretty dark back looks exactly like it should. Smell is fully maple and vanilla I could have sworn I got a whiff of meaty smoke but it could be just a mind trick. Taste is quite opposite their is the dry boozy flavor profile their stout are know for with just a hint of smoke and maybe some dry candied sugars. Overall I struggle to finish all the beers I picked up from 903 not really finding a single one I really liked maybe the Shermanator which I gave a 4 but I can see from the reviews it was also a hot boozy mess. Ow well onto the next one

Tasty, pastry style stout. Pours a deep black with about a fb of light brown heading with minimal lacing and quickly resolves. Smells of coffee, maple syrup and ethanol. Taste is precominantly coffe, maple syrup mid note, a little salty and a little artificial sweetness on the palate and residual taste. Body is a bit thin for the style, almost like a porter, a little boozy.
Not bad for the style - hard to drink more than one - the sweetener is a little cloying and artificial - overall quite good with some imprefections
I would buy again (4 pack) - and the pricepoint is reasonable

Pours dark chocolate brown, nearly black, with a one finger foamy, deep caramel brown head. Aroma is maple, and coffee. Taste is quite coffee centric, with maple assuming nearly all the rest of the profile. I can just make out vanilla, though that is quite limited. I find any bacon flavor is subtle, if present. The overall effect is a bit unbalanced, IMHO, with too much on the coffee side but still is one of the better bacon flavored beers I've tried.

On tap. Khaki head. Dark brown color.
I want to like this, but you can tell it’s all extract and artificial sweetness. Reminds me funky Buddha maple bacon coffee porter from back in the day. Coffee, maybe, vanilla, chocolate. All soooo sweet. I couldn’t drink a lot of this. Has a cola/dr pepper like finish.

Aroma is big maple syrup/breakfast and nutty dark malts. The flavor is fruit, dark malts and a mix of acidity, maple syrup and a slight strange numbing/alcoholic finish.
