12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It left some lacing on the glass. It smelled of toasted bread , orange peel, caramel and floral notes. Sweet toasted caramel taste with fruity notes and a sharp bitterness.

“Crisp” what a appropriate name. It fits well. Smells overwhelmingly floral. Taste crisp and oh so smooth. The 8% is very well discussed. Unusual IPA!

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a light level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of tropical fruit smells of tangerine, pineapple, and papaya. Along with the fruit comes notes of a cracker malt and a rather sizable showing of a grapefruit and pine hop smell. There are other light hop aroma of a floral nature and a touch of earth as well as some notes of blueberries and a decent showing of melon.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice crisp cracker malt flavor paired with hop flavors of pine and grapefruit. There is a light sweetness of tropical fruits upfront, with the main flavor being that of a papaya and pineapple taste. As the taste advances, other light fruit tastes of melon and apricot join in, remaining very light. The pine hop gets more intense, while the tropical fruits fade. Other hops of a floral and herbal note join in at the end, leaving one with a nice crisp and somewhat dank and resinous but quite balanced taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is quite crisp with a carbonation level that is medium to high. For the resinous and dank hop tastes, mixed with the light fruit and cracker malt body, the feel is great and makes for a nice crisp drinker.
Overall – I very much enjoyed this brew. Not super citrus heavy with a nice crisp flavor profile and good hop blend. Well done.
