Supposed to be a Fun dip like brew with raspberry and cherry flavor
Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy raspberry pink color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades almost instantly, leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is sweet and tart with tons of confectioners’ sugar and raspberry mixed with some cherry lemonade smells. Other aromas of a musty smell and notes of grain round it all out, producing a cherry, raspberry lemonade like smoothie smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a very sweet taste of Kool-Aid cherry and raspberry mixed with a touch of grain and some light lemon sourness. As the taste advances a touch of funk and a bit of mustiness join the other flavors, mixing with others to leave a very sweet, thick Kool-Aid like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness with a moderate carbonation. Overall, for the sweet tastes, a thinner body and higher carbonation would have made it more refreshing, but in the end it was OK.
Overall – A bit too sweet and heavy on the palate for my taste. A fun try, but not one I will go back to time and time again.
