Marshmallow Peeps flavored brew
Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The brew pours a super hazy purplish color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a fruity vanilla marshmallowly smell mixed with additional raspberry, cherry and blackberry aromas. Along with these comes a bit of lemon and touch of apple cider vinegar
Taste – The taste starts out with a fruity flavor of raspberry, cherry, and blackberry mixed with some vanilla marshmallowly and a bit of apple cider vinegar. At the same time there is a little bit of a lemon and lime flavor as well as a touch of sour raspberry candy. As the taste advances the marshmallowly gets stronger, along with some more sour raspberry and lemon coming to the tongue, leaving one with a rather fruity and lightly soured taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light for a 7.5 % abv brew with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. For the style the feel is rather well done making for an easy sipper.
Overall – A rather decently fruity and marshmallowly sour. While not one I would frequent, it is fun to try.
