Poured room temp to a snifter. Color is jet black, with no head or lacing bubbling up from the tar pit. Aroma is a little strange, akin to wet shoe leather. The flavor has a sweet vanilla sugar front, but the whiskey soaked coffee beans play a substantial role keeping it balanced. They also add a nice thickness to the mouthfeel. The oak isn’t what I’d call discernible in the flavor profile, but there is noticeably more cut to the sweetness. As I drink more of it, I like it more than even the first sips. It might not be a daily or regular drink, but it’s worth a few sessions over time.
