The pour is akin to medium roast coffee and looks stout black in the glass. The beige head starts tall and dissipates rather quickly, leaving no lacing.
The taste certainly has chocolate, lots of chocolate; but it apparently doesn’t age well as there is a distinct liquor presence that clashes with the smooth taste and feel of the chocolate. Had to re read the can to make sure it wasn’t aged in vodka or something.
The feel is much lighter than the additive list seems to indicate.
OA, not sure if it was better when fresh but I have to think it was. I really need to check dates more often.

OMG ! Smells and tastes like liquid chocolate cake with chocolate icing! A bit boozy at 13%! Decent balance but definitely leans fairly sweet. Medium to full bodied with a sweet warming dessert-like finish.
