Drank 7/5/25 no canned date
Pour is black with a tiny bit of fizzy light cinnamon colored. Quickly fades to nothing.
Nose is vanilla, espresso, roasted malt
Taste is espresso, vanilla, sweet chocolate roasted malts.
Creamy, full body. A good beer.
One of the better 903 stouts I’ve had. But then again, I love coffee stout. This isn’t blowing me away, but it’s very good.

Picked up a can for 5 bucks got the whole line from 903 this one doesn't look as highly rated. stellar looking imperial stout bountiful full half inch of deep mocha foam that doesn't fizz out like a malt liquor and the beer is as deep and black as my soul. Pretty standard coffee stout fanfare playful vanilla light cream smooth bean and a hint of wood with no bourbon or booze in sight. hit you in the face with the booze almost giving me a sort of orange peel flavor but quickly to sweetness and dry coffee roasts rounded with a bit of cream. As I sip the sharpness does show itself with the ABV and slight liquor hits the back of the throat each sip so quite heavy and not as balanced as world class offerings like Sunday Morning stout. Not sure how they can improve this maybe some time in a barrel will smooth out the rough edges but it delivers as being a Espresso martini even tough I was hoping for more like a beer.
