so the can says 5.4%, the description on this site says 4.5%, and their website says 5.8%. a good start. brewer's website also says this is an english brown ale, so maybe this one wasn't added exactly right.
brown. not a lot of head. definitely on the nuttier side of things with a dry aftertaste. good carbonation. spicier finish.
brown ales are easy to ignore, but i really enjoy a good one. this is something i would want in the fridge starting in september.
