Vanilla Rose Imperial Bourbon Porter pours black with a small head. The aroma is filled with vanilla beans. The flavor is a lovely rich, creamy porter with heavy vanilla bean notes. Good body and feel. Overall, a big vanilla-filled porter.

Appearance: Very dark brown with red highlights, small, thin head.
Smell: Wood, sweet fruitiness.
Taste: Sweet, vanilla, cherry fruitiness, light roasted malt flavor that is more in the background, followed by more vanilla and wood in the finish.
Overall: November 2015 release. I picked up a bottle of this at the taproom, it is aged in Four Roses barrels. The pour at the taproom seemed a little more "put-together" than the bottle as far as meshing of flavors. It was quite woody and thin feeling from the bottle instead of vanilla and full feeling at the tap.
