17 IBU, 7.3 ABV 2018 batch I had this beer two years ago, it has improved, less grainy and smoother.
Nice look to it, very dark brown. nice head that leaves plenty of lacing.
Smell, roast/toasted bread malt
Taste is Toasty slightly roasty bread malts. Some dark fruit, micro amounts of caramel. somewhat sweet but finishes more sweet. Smooth beer.
A solid offering. It might have scored higher if it was fresher. tested from a crowler I found in a Hudson liquor store buried behind fresher beers from Pitchfork
