this one was a highlight from a recent visit to the taproom. smell is light roast and bitter. it was indeed warming at 7.8%, and very savory and not too sweet. good amount of roast and pine, with a slight hit of spice from the alcohol.
this is a perfect late fall/winter beer

Drank from a 750ml crowler bought at the taproom. Batch 1387WH, canned 4/13/2021
The warmer it gets the better it gets.
Look: dark brown body, semi transparent reddish brown when held up to my beer light. Nice Light tan head that lasts a long time leaving plenty of lacing.
Smell: light roast/toasted bread
taste: mild roast, toasted bread, caramel/brown sugar, maybe a hint of dark fruit, micro hint of rum, there is a hop note at the finish, could be pine that has faded with age, not sure how old the batch is. Smooth beer, rather sweet.
I like it.
