Copenhagen 6/9 2020. 33 cl can from Irma, Smedetoften, Kbh. NV. White can in a deliberately campy design which looks like something straight out of the eighties.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass.
Aroma is fairly intense with a rather strong sweet, fruity odor mingling with citric scents. Sweet peach and currants. Lighter tart, citric notes of lime and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, tingling and lively texture.
Flavor is intense with fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Finish is dry.
Solid NEIPA balancing the sweet fruitiness with the citric bitterness quite well.
