Copenhagen 9/7 2022. 33 cl can from Lagar, Rantzausgade, Kbh. N. Golden can with a red pair of lips saying “b-b-b-Berliner”.
Pours opaque murky burgundy with a small pink head. Disappears after a few seconds leaving a dark and bubbly substance behind. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a dark, sweet odor of ripe berries mingling with tart sour notes. Blue- and blackberries, sweet lactose. Hints of vanilla. Citrus and tart gooseberries.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture. A bit fizzy.
Flavor is medium intense but a tad watery. Medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger sourness. Aftertaste sweetish with a sour undertone. Lingers shortly. Finish is rather dry.
A bit thin berry jam. But well balanced and refreshing.
