Copenhagen 2/11 2019. 33 cl can from Østerbruo Vin & Spiritus (formerly Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel). Can is a mess of different shades of Purple. reminds me of the Greatest Hits CD from Deep Purple I never got around to purchase.
Pours unclear, pale yellow with a very big white head. Bubbly. Settles as patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and very much on the citric side. Very light odor of sweet Peach and Pineapple. Strong odor of acerbic Citrus and Grape fruit. Fresh and unripe.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, smooth yet lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and acerbic. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
An impressive intensity for a pretty light weight Session IPA.
