Copenhagen 17/4 2020. 33 cl can from Beerlivery web-shop. Can with look from the eighties with big, twisted orange and blue letters spelling Water Witty (joke might have been a bit more amusing if this was a witbier).
Pours hazy, pale yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a solid sweet, malty backbone and lighter citric and exotic odors. Sweet pale malts, fruity peach and some citrus and pine.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, smooth, soft texture with a light tingling feel.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Fairly malty but also very nice NEIPA. Well balanced and pleasant.
