Copenhagen 25/12 2018. 33 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus, Kbh Ø. Flying Couchs logo with a happy beer drinker Flying in a couch. skyview of Scandinavia at the bottom of the label.
Pours opaque dark brown with medium-sized off-white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense, sugary with a light presence of alcohol. Cocoa, chocolate and brown sugar. Vanilla intermingling with light fresh fruit. Hints of smoke. Light bitter coffee notes. Whiff of boozy alcohol lurking in the background.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, creamy and oily texture. A little sticky.
Flavor has strong sweetness. Moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitterish with sweet undercurrent. Lingering. Light alcoholic burn.
Very nice powerful Imperial stout for me to sip on a Christmas morning.
