Copenhagen 16/1 2018. 50 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus (formerly Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel), Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Simple label with the infamous flying couch on black background.
Pours hazy orange with a big fluffy head. Settles as a big fluffy and lumpy layer of foam. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is strong, rich and fruity. Sweet exotic fruit. Mango, papaya and peach - maybe a hint of apricot. Prominent grapefruit and lime in the background.
Soft yet prickly carbonation and soft, fat, creamy palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by prominent and strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and fruity. Finish is semi dry.
A real pleasant IPA. Good flavor without going to extremes - and without being boring.
