Copenhagen 7/6 2015. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsens Vinhandel, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Very green label with a guy drinking beer in an airborne sofa levitated by balloons.
Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a prominent white head. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Massive lacing.
Aroma of tropical fruits blending in in with citrus and grapefruit. Pineapple and peach. A little perfumed.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is not exactly velvet but dominated by citrus and grapefruit. Only a little peachy sweetness. Aftertaste is tart grapefruit.
I may not be riding a flying couch here but enjoying a fresh IPA where I hardly notice it carries a 7% alcohol content.
