Copenhagen 2/11 2015. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Drawing of lobotomized zombie enjoying a Uranium Beer (I assume) on the label.
Pours clear light copper brown with a white head which quickly subsides to a very thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma of exotic fruits and some slightly skunky bitterness. A little like an old cheroot. Sweet peach and grapefruit.
Medium strong carbonation and oily palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly bitter and a little earthy. Aftertaste is long and bitter with a dry finish.
Nice bitter pale ale - but not what I would expect from listening to the music where they seem to have a fancy for Hancock beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
