Another gift from a road trip -- though neither of us knew the brewery had closed 02-2023! No date on the can... buyer beware!
L -- Hazy, deep gold to amber with a firm, dense, long-lasting white head.
S -- Balance of pine and resin with stone fruit esters.
T -- A bit of band-aid phenol up front, but it dissipates quickly. Pine resin, light stone fruit characters and big, herbal to floral bitterness. Vaguest of biscuit malt holding up the backbone. Fruit esters stronger in finish and aftertaste.
F -- Mouthfeel is soft to dry with a light-robust body.
O -- A big, hoppy IPA that delivers as advertised. If this has been in the can since February (or longer), it's held up well.

my first beer ever from these guys, never even really heard their name before i had this one, but i liked it pretty well, a bit of an older school take on the style, more of a copper color and with some definite grain balance to it, almost overbalance from a modern standpoint, crystal malt and some body to it, helps balance the bitterness of the hops, which to me have a little more bitterness than either aroma of flavor, but its not underdone to me, its just very bitter, which i dont mind, especially in this day and age where every ipa is nothing but juice, no teeth anymore, so i appreciate this one for being kind of 90s or whatever. light pine and grapefruit essence to it, a little sweetness, this could be a bit drier than it is, but the residual sugar keeps the finish from being harsh, and there is harmony with the grain and the hops here, a cool kind of roundness and balance. light honey and biscuit, some minerals, and a hoppy freshness with the bitter at the end, even a lightly english ale yeast complexion to me too, at the very least it isnt flavorless. tasty drink, familiar already to me, a bit of a throwback at this point, but i liked it.

Had on tap, decent iipa, not great, but very drinkable. Nice amber color, light aroma, more of a malty taste over a hop foward taste. Nice beer.
