Pint can dated October 22, 2018. Pours a bright yellow-orange, opaque, with only a thin layer of head and no retained lacing. Points for the still-vibrant color. Somehow, despite being nearly a month old, it still tastes a bit "green," with a bright bitterness and considerably more grapefruit pith than I expect from a NEIPA. I suppose I would chalk this up to the hops I've never heard of, as I have had some pretty good NEIPAs from Indiana City before. In addition, rinsing out the can did not produce any excess yeast cake or hop particle sediment of note.
Bitter without being too flavorful otherwise. As the first reviewer, I'd love to note some other interesting things, but that's what's going on here. White grapefruit, pomelo, pecan tannins, and maybe a bit of pineapple. It's probably just what some people would enjoy as a change of pace from the usual NEIPA, and it is clearly well-made, but it's not really for my palate, so I'm a bit conflicted about the rating. I would generally recommend that IN City invest in some higher-quality hops, but then again, this ends up being somewhat unique as a result of utilizing some crap varietals.
