For $6.54 on Sunday, this is the best local growler you can get in Indianapolis metro area.
This is a roast bomb... Delicious ashy chocolaty oatmeal stout flavors await.
Smells like a freshly opened package of dark chocolate.
Drinks like the best oatmeal stout that you've had in a while.
Go ahead and drink 3 more pints and savor the fact that this local brew is roughly the same price as a Guinness.
Consistently my favorite brew of the three core beers. Try Haymaker if you like bourbon barrel aged beer.

Pours a frothy, dark tan head. Toasted coffee in the nose. Black in color. Starts with a nice, toasted coffee flavor. Builds into a medium bitterness. Lingering roasted malt in the finish.
This is pretty nice, albeit solitary in flavor. That being said, it's a very nice, singular exhibition of toasted malt.

12 ounce can, my last beer from The Brewster Club. Both FedEx and Ups canceled their account because of the volume of beer they were shopping.
Pours black, creamy head of tan foam.
Smells of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate.
Taste is a battle between the coffee and roasted malt, chocolate takes the bronze.
Creamy mouthfeel.
Excellent and very nice Oatmeal Stout.

Enjoyed from the 12 oz can in a snifter. This nice oatmeal stout pours a thick black with a very nice head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, nice thin layer, and excellent lacing. Nose of subtle chocolate, subtle coffee, light char, and deeply roasted malts. Flavors surpass the nose with lightly char touched coffee and cocoa notes on the front and middle of the taste, light cream on the sides, and bitter malt notes on the rear. Lightly creamy and substantial, light carbonation, coating, sticky, and lightly slick mouth feel. Overall and excellent stout.
WORTHY....need to visit this brewery.
Cheers

On tap at Ale Emporium.
Color is dark black with 1 finger of kaki foam and nice lace rings on the glass
Smell is roasted malts and coffee. Nothing super powerful
Taste is similar to the smell slightly watery compared to other stouts but good coffee and malt flavor none the less
Overall a strong beer in the categories that I personally find important in a stout. I would order this again.

A - Dark brown-black, mostly opaque, but some translucence on the edge. Head is tan and full and starts tight but fades to rockiness then lacy edges. There is an oily sheen, and a definite hint of viscous weight.
S - Smell is roasted malts and slightly smoky.
T - Taste is full of chocolate, slightly burnt coffee. The smokiness and umami hit suggest how good this would be with BBQ or a BLT.
M - The feel is full and slick, but not ultimately burdensome. The beer remains quite drinkable.
O - This is a huge beer for 6%, and quite good.

I really enjoyed the slightly bitter coffee taste and the chewy feel. This one reminds me of terrapin wake & bake. This is my first beer from this brewery and I will definitely try more.
