I thought that this beer was better than the rum BA Sombre.
A- Had a dark tinge to it, just as the rum BA Sombre had, didn't have the bit of red in it. Had a head that would about the same size, but didn't cling to the glass as much.
S- This beer smelled pretty unique. It had almost a soft cherry smell to it, with a bit of a boozy finish.
T- The taste was pretty awesome. I thought that the beer meshed very well with the agave. The beer actually had notes of black current and raspberries, which was refreshing to the finish.
M- This beer was a bit lighter feeling than the rum based Sombre. Felt great from the tip of your tongue to the end of your palate.
O- I would recommend this beer to anyone who likes berries or tequila. The agave BA process did wonders for this beer. I will be ordering this again when I come to Hopvine Brewing Company.
Cheers!
