This traditional German style wheat ale is both strong and sweet … just like a Valley Girl. The large quantity of malted wheat provides a sturdy base to showcase the playful citrus and banana characters of the yeast. This Hefeweizen is golden hazy on the pour and easy on the eyes.

Valley girl pours a cloudy light orange with a nice head, heavy on the carbonation. There is a hint of banana in the nose, with some tart wheat and a bit of sulphur. There is a little more wheat in the flavor, with some more sulphur and a crisp, dry finish. I would love to see more banana and clove flavor in the beer, but it's not too bad.
