Attractive roasted aromas and flavors of chocolate covered espresso bean and fresh coffee. A sweet medium body creates a warming, complex, drinkable stout with great balance.

Deep brown, almost black with an oily looking texture, medium low clarity and a light brown head that quickly dissipates
Aroma is bakers chocolate, roasted grain, coffee and a sourness as well. Slight piney American hop aroma but malt forward
Flavor is burnt toast, bakers chocolate, coffee and like the aroma, an unpleasant sourness. Moderate piney flavors from the hops and medium dry finish
Medium full mouth feel with moderate carbonation along with a noticeable alcohol warmth. Beer has an oily texture with a bite from the sourness
The infection which caused the sour notes is the glaring issue with this beer, I can see where this has potential to be a good beer but perhaps tone down the carbonation and make sure equipment is clean to avoid infection.
