50 cl. bottle with swing-top cap. Served in Duvel tulip. 6.5% abv.
The beer pours a cloudy orangeish-brown with a moderate head.
The aroma is wonderful: very delicate, fruity, and inviting, with 'Brøckhouse' written all over it.
The taste is nicely balanced, less fruity than the aroma suggests, with a decent hoppy freshness and a solid yeast presence. The finish is dry and sourish. Drinkability is good.
A darker, fuller interpretation of a Belgian blonde, this finished version is more assertive and powerful than the test-version, but in the process has lost some lightness and fruitiness.
