A - Deep, dark brown color and poured with a thin bubbly slightly tan head
S - Fruity and flowery with some roasted characteristics at the same time
T - The flowery and fruity nature of the brew really shine through here. I was told by the bartender that the this beer was brewed with elderberry flower, which explains a lot in the taste. Had a bit of bittersweet chocolate in the flavor alongside the flowery and roasted qualities.
M - Medium MF, with fairly bubbly carbonation which is not entirely expected for the style
D - Not the most drinkable of brews that I've sampled, but it was interesting enough to demand an entire look at the sample.
Overall, this is a really adventurous brew and not for the faint of heart. The late warming nature of the alcohol (which did not show up in the tasted), made it very pleasant and warming.
