Pours a very dark brown, colour. Juicy tobacco and dark chocolate, pitted tree fruits and a little bitter. Slightly boozy aroma. Dry and crisp throughout. Heavier malt body; sticky pitted fruits, caramel malts, bitter hop and burnt grain finish.

L: Pours brilliant deep brown under a 1” tan foam cvollar that is fairly persistent and lacy. S: Aromas of nuts, fruit, alcohol, some dark sugars, wood and earth rise form the glass. T: Big malt flavors, malt spice, and some chocolate. Starts slightly sweet and dries on the finish with a touch of tanginess. F: creamy, full body, medium carbonation, with a little stickiness on the lips from the malt sugars. O: Very well made and well balanced – like an English brown ale on steroids.
