Pours a very dark brown/mahogany colour. Smells like chocolate malts, espresso, mocha, juicy tobacco leaf, heavy, boozy, and sweet. Tastes like cacao nibs, bitter dark chocolate, tobacco leaf, hints of vanilla, earthy, and bitter finish. Surprisingly medium-bodied.

L: pours deep dark brown under a 3" tan foam cap that is persistent and lacy.
S: Oatmeal, rich malt, mild coffee with traces of chocolate and caramel aromas rise from the glass. Oakmeal Stout has a wild ale texture without the wild yeast flavors. The flavors start mildly sweet with some fruit notes, rich malt, a hint of vanilla and a trace of cherry. Hop flavors and bitterness are low but the roast provides balance. There are no harsh or burnt flavors. The oakiness is fairly subdued.
F: It has a very airy body that gives the beer a lightness and a subtle creaminess from the oats. The alcohol is barely noticeable.
O: very drinkable
