Pours black with khaki head, lots of lacing left behind.
Smell is dark roasted malts and some coffee.
Taste is dark roast, some coffee, dark chocolate, and a bit of bitter citrus.
Full bodied smooth feel. A bit of prickle on the tongue.
Overall a pretty tasty brew. If I ever make to Sweden I'll have to look for more.

On tap at Mother Kelly’s Vauxhall. Pours opaque and nearly black with a creamy khaki head that leaves a ring and plenty of lace. Nose is a soft baked chocolate cake which brings together the roasted grains, cocoa, and some vanilla. Almost a toasted oat character, but maybe it is just my imagination. Taste is rich and full bodied with the flavors melding together rather than asserting themselves as individual components. Less chocolate here and more creamy coffee. The roasted bitter notes sneak in subtlety and give it a nice finish. Overall, a really well formed beer.
