Travelling to different countries & making new friends is how it all started, and finally our friends from Six Degrees North came over to Sweden to brew with us. Our second collaboration is a New England IPA with Styrian Wolf, Citra, and Ekuanot.

The colour is cool orange, the liquid is hazy. The three fingers head is white and compact; it sinks slowly leaving some lacing on the glass.
The smell is hoppy with sweet notes of exotic fruits, citric peels and bitter herbs. Some banana peels and a touch of dough.
The taste starts with a quickly passing dough-like sweetness. Dry fruity notes of banana and pineapple, green apples and gunpowder. Medium body. The aftertaste is dominated by green banana, apples and tree sap. Some fruit candy and sweet wheat dough. The harsh finish got some floral bitterness, lemonade and a hint of toffee.
Strong carbonation, the many mid-sized bubbles are long-lived and fresh. The liquid is a bit sticky and smooth.
A bit too much “green” flavours for me.

Light hazy, yellow-orange with a white head that leaves lacing on the glass.
Nose of orange, lemon, earthy and grass.
Taste: Grass, citrus, pineapple, orange and earthy notes.
Mouth: Medium body. High carbonation. High bitterness at the end.
Not really a NEIPA...?

Pours a murky dark orange with fine head.
Smell is earthy and citrusy with some sweetess and notes of strawberry jam.
Taste is earthy and grassy with notes of citrus, strawberry jam and hint of metal and leather. Mild to moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a decent beer, but not a NE IPA. Some Euro brewers get what makes a NE IPA a NE IPA, but many don't. This isn't juicy or soft enough.
