I had the chance to visit FATE the night before our flight back home from our family vacation in Southern Utah taking in the mighty five. The place is in a building with other small businesses and upon entering you knew you were in a more upscale brewery/eatery. There was a large central bar with restaurant booths and tables with outdoor patio seating available. The quality of the beer was ok....the food was better. The service was kind and attentive. They had over 10 beers of their own to choose from plus some guest taps. The food was pretty good.....I had some pork belly noodle dish.

Food was great, especially the pastrami egg rolls! Beer was excellent, I had the Moirai IPA, it was as advertised, citrus forward and very hoppy!

Modern brewpub with a huge outdoor seating section. Upper scale pub fare, tried a few appetizers and they were tasty and priced well for happy hour. Beer deal was $1 off their regular offerings yet they were out of the "GABF medal winning" kolsch. Oh well, how about a watermelon gose? Oh, out of that too... Damn. My wife tried to order the coffee ipa, also gone. The server was friendly and apologetic about not having 1/3 of their beer menu available but that doesn't change the fact that we were not able to try most of the interesting things on the menu. What we did try was good, nothing to rave about. C+

Fate had a very relaxed vibe, especially on the patio. The happy hour is definitely the time to go since food is a bit pricey. The Ozo Coffee IPA was delicious!

It's a fun place but is increasingly invaded by a pretentious vibe. They have many great beers on tap, the outdoor seating is good, the food is above average and the waitstaff is friendly. Not the best place in Boulder but definitely above average.

This taproom on the east side of Boulder typically has approximately 20 of Fate's in house brews - Don't miss the coffee IPA. In addition to a broad interesting selection of beer, Fate has a full service menu with equally interesting food options. Despite being on a busy street, the outdoor seating is very well thought out. Only negative note is that some of the servers beer knowledge is a bit limited. In my mind the best beer and food combo in Boulder.

I stopped in with a friend while visiting Boulder. We watched college football while sampling most of their beers. I like the beers but I really like the atmosphere and vibe. It's very open and fills with natural light. The bar is great, there's plenty of table seating and they have a nice outdoor area. I really enjoyed my visit.

They took a hunk of junk for a building and transformed it into a nice brew pub. Nice tap list, growlers, great beer and savory food! Wonderful service too!

fate is a neat spot, a little white collar for me personally, but like the kind of place young professionals go after work. less of a bar, more of a restaurant, but not bad atmosphere aside from the overly classy thing. you know, wait to be seated by a hostess in a short black dress kind of thing. many beers on and a visible forest of small fermenters in the back. maybe 20 taps all up, maybe more, mostly fate beers, with a regular lineup and some cool seasonals. the apollo tsai i loved so much at beer camp was out, and the saison they had was terrible, but i really like the hoppy new zealand session and the coffee ipa. food looked amazing and creative, but we only had dessert, which was both affordable and a massive portion. service was weird, brought the wrong drinks a few times, seemed to be a bit spaced, even for boulder, but was friendly enough and generous with the sampling. left with an 18 dollar bottle of tequila barrel gose which really has me stoked. overall not a place to really go for a beer, more of a food and meeting people place, a little upscale for the brewery scene i think, but the quality is high, the place is clean and inviting, and i would definitely go back.

Atmosphere - I've been twice during their weekend brunch hours and the place is busy, but never crowded, as there is plenty of indoor seating and a huge, spacious patio!
Quality - I've enjoyed all the beers I've had, as well as the food. A bit on the pricey side, but nothing too outrageous.
Service - prompt and helpful staff; a bit flighty, but it's all good!
Selection - about 5 of their year round beers, plus about another 10-12 specialty/seasonal brews; some guest taps and bottles, as well as some of their own barrel aged bottles!
Food - a fairly eclectic menu, but nothing that seems too odd. The breakfast nachos are fantastic! The kids menu and brunch specials are solid!
Value - a bit pricey, but considering atmosphere, location, nice food menu and wide selection of beers; definitely worth it!
