Classic easy drinking weissbeir. Notably soft mouthfeel.

Staying in Lindau for 3 nights in September 2012, I sampled this beer from tap in two different establishments, the result was the same : an astonishingly good beer that was a complete surprise on my current tour.
The appearance is as pale as can be, lovely tight packed head, the 'hop explosion' definately revealed some Hallertauer perle, while the underlying bittering was a delicate balance involving Tettnanger hops (just 25km from the brewery). Lovely moderate bitterness, with a vibrant, clean mouthfeel/taste that made your tastebuds sing.
As said above, an absolute surprise of the very nicest kind.
The highest level of Braukunst.

Yellow to greenish color, low carbonation, average white head, quite compact.
At the smell hop, but quite old and stale.
The taste has the same problem.
On-tap (not reviewed) it was completely different: nothing exceptional, but anyway a good pils. Here...
Some bitterness in the aftertaste.
Not too pleasant.
