Copenhagen 24/7 2023. 33 cl bottle from Spar, Langestraat, Oostende. Yellow label with brown vertical lines with hop plants growing around them and a logo with a seasoned brewer with a cap.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as tin patch later of foam trying in vain to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with some sweet fruit and alcohol. Sweet banana, peach and sweet malts. Scent of musty, humid cellar peeking in. Whiff of sharp alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with strong fruity sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and fruity. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Overall decent Tripel doing what it's supposed to.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name, ABV% and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)…
L- Pale amber, super-chunky sediment lifted right into the pour - looks like a snow-globe of chunks. 1mm foam cap swiftly goes leaving a thin ring of bubbles. Not a thing of beauty, but heads down and let's try and see beyond...
S- Mild, in fact I get essnetially zero from this. Now, how on earth do I rate that...
T- Meaty malts, some very complimentary subtle hops. Unfortunately chomping on a bowl of cheese+onion crisps has knackered my palate. Shame as this 'senses' as a very nice beer. Yeah that's like my inner beer-Yoda. More seriously, later I begin to sense this clearly, very Belgian/Monastic, very nice.
F- It's quite pungent though in a trad sense. Presumably a Tripel though towards the lighter end of the style? It does that lovely thing, that solid Belgian beers do, where the ABV% and feel blend into that solid sensation on the palate.
O- It's very pleasant, well put together/balanced. If I could buy this at local 'BE' prices I'd happily buy and enjoy more of it.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed! 'Belgian trad top-fermented beer. Unfiltered, unpasteurised' etc.
330ml bottle BB: 04/2022 £2.49 Bought from BeersOfEurope, King's Lynn/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.
Currently listed in the Description as a 'Blonde Ale - American'. Well nope'siree it's a Belgian Tripel, the clues are in it's name, labelling and taste.
