750 ml format. Pours slightly hazy pale brown with a smallish head that leaves a little lace. Nose is not what I expected from a cascade green hop beer...I get more earthy English hops, and overall the nose is quite muted. Taste is also not what I would expect from a green hop beer, but at least the flavor is good. Definitely leans toward Belgian pale and not American. In some ways the flavor reminds me a bit of Duvel with some added light hop/grassy notes. It is missing the green hop flavor I was hoping for, but at 5.5%, it is flavorful and has a nice bitterness into the finish. Honestly, the first third of this beer I wasn't too happy, but as I go on I'm really starting to dig it. At first, I would have said I wouldn't purchase again, and now I'm wishing I had another bottle. Weird...
