This may be Driftless Brewing's best beer to date. Drank out of a 8oz snifter, poured gently and produced a nice thin laced head. Nose is of subtle fruit, and first taste confirms the currant and black raspberries used in the brew. Great mouthfeel as the taste of fruit subsides and the balance of malt and tartness combines to make a wonderful quaff. This is so well balanced that the alcohol really hides. Somewhat unique, this is one of the best beers I have tried this year.
