Take local fresh monster cookies from Cookies Etc. & add them to the mash. Then load it with more oats than a Quaker farm. This bold rich oatmeal stout is layered with flavors. Caramel: check. Chocolate: check. Brown sugar: check. Peanut butter: check. Who says you can't have it all? And at 8.5%, this is one tough cookie.

Imperial Oatmeal Stout.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't immediately disappointed.
One Tough Cookie is supposed to be brewed with cookies. The flavor notes on the can says: caramel, chocolate, brown sugar, and peanut butter. The latter, I smell and taste immensely. If I had a blind test, I'd say I was drinking melted, alcoholic peanut butter. It's very enjoyable, if you like peanut butter. It doesn't taste like a cookie, which is why I had the initial disappointment.

ABV: 8.5%
Small, brown-ish, foamy head. The beer is very dark, black, no light comes through it.
