This big American IPA pours with a beautiful creamy head that sticks around. Colorado Nugget hops added at the beginning of boil and Centennial hops added throughout – with a big malt backbone – give this delicious IPA a great balance. Voted best beer in Steamboat 2014 + 2015.

12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy orange amber with a small white head that quickly goes to a thin collar that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is subdued - sweet biscuity caramel malt with some fruity hops.
The flavor is sweet biscuity caramel malt and a little green apple with floral resiny hops that have a good amount of bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, an OK IPA.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the nonic, with appropriate logo from Caution Brewing. Pleasantly sudsy mouthfeel. Odd musty smell.
Sweet and resiny both, followed by an eye-watering bitterness. Astringent and woody aftertaste. Sugar and hoppy bitterness is not my favorite combination. This one is for slaves to the hop goddess. From the 16 oz can purchased at Mayfair Liquors in Denver.

Copper colored body; thin yet sticky white head. Malty aroma with an earthy hop quality; pine resin. Caramel and crystal malt flavors; pine hop flavor. Thick, sticky, prickly mouthfeel.
A decent IPA with emphasis on the hop bitterness. Tasty, mostly with a heavy residual malt sweetness with a biting hop bitterness adding some counterpoint. There is no real "wow" factor yet delivers a generally satisfying tasting experience.
