A light bodied, dark colored ale with a nice easy finish. Inspired by a British Mild, we made this easy drinker our own by increasing the body and hop character without overdoing it. The clean taste and unique aroma make this beer another great offering from Steamboat’s first production brewery.

Dark brown in color. Aroma is slightly hoppy grapefruit. Tastes of malt and nutty mild flavor. Not bitter at all. Overall a nice English mild beer.

Poured from a 16oz. served at Mambo in Steamboat Springs into a shaker pint.
Look- Pours a amber brown color producing a few centimeters of off white foam. Some minimal lacing is left in it's wake.
Smell- Earthy peat along with some caramel, brown sugar and leather.
Taste- Caramel malt, peat, leather and wood.
Feel- Slick up front yielding to a dry finish.
Overall- Not a style I drink very often, but it was an enjoyable change of pace that tasted to style.

Faintly hazy brown body; thin, fizzy, soapy head. Roasted grain smell; char; roasted nuts. Dark grain sweetness, again with a nutty quality; husky; nicely balanced hop bitterness. Medium body; rather flat; some tart brightness at the finish.
Overall, a solid mild ale. It delivers a gentle, toffe-like sweetness overlayed with a a mildly dry, crisp hop bitterness.
