Pours a black color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of roasted malt, chocolate, hint of cherry, sweet malt, hops, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of roasted malt, sweet malt, slight alcohol, hops, slight chocolate, and cherry cough syrup. Overall, good appearance, aroma, feel, but the cherry flavor is closer to a cough syrup than actual cherries.

On tap. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of cherry flavoring and faint notes of chocolate. It tasted like artificial cherry flavoring and sweet chocolate.
