On tap. Poured a slightly cloudy, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of sweet caramel and toffee with some estery notes. Tasted mostly of sweet caramel. Very little Tripel-like qualities. It's not a bad beer, but it's not a good Tripel.

Orange gold with some haze. Nose is yeast and malt with a little fruit. Flavor is light malt with some toast, plenty of fruit esters (incl banana) and spice. Pretty sweet, but nicely balanced by moderate high bitterness. Smooth, medium body.

Pours a cloudy, dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of strong yeast aromas, some fruity esters, tart malt, and some sweet malt. Fits the style of a Tripel. Mouth feel is really smooth and chewy with a low carbonation level. Tastes of general sweetness up front, tart malt next, fruity flavors along with strong yeast cleanliness, and slight hops in the background. Overall, this was a sweeter than average Tripel, that was smooth and easy to drink. What it lacks a little in body, it makes up for in ease of drinking.
