An American style pale ale generously hopped for that big hop aroma and flavor typical of the style. This brew is golden in color with a medium body, and was fermented with Ringwood English Ale yeast. Bitterness is reasonably well balanced with some residual malt sweetness. Cascade hops were used for all hop additions, contributing floral and citrus notes to the brew.

Sampled on 6-6-07. Bartender said this batch was less hoppy than previous batches.
A - It had a reddish, orange color with with small, short-lived white head. Left a little lace.
S - It smelled of citrus and grass. Also, some subtle malty notes.
T - It tasted very citrusy (probably Cascade hops). The malt was understated, as was the hop character.
M - It was crisp and smooth. A light to medium-bodied beer.
D - This summer's version is less hoppy than their Katy Trail Pale Ale. It is also far more citrusy and a little lighter.
