Our Smoked Porter uses 80 pounds of malt that has been slowly smoked over a hardwood fire. This is added to our basic porter to yield a flavorful, but not overly assertive smoked flavor. German Perle hops provide a light bitterness, and the steam style lager yeast ferments nice and clean, allowing the smoked and dark roasted malt flavors to dominate.

Pours a dark black color. 1/3 inch head of a pale tan color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of smoke, roasted malt, sweet malt, and slight alcohol. Fits the style of an American Porter or technically a smoked beer. Mouth feel is smooth and thick with an average carbonation level. Tastes of roasted malt, smoke, slight alcohol, sweet malt, and slight hop as well. Overall, good body, great blend, and nice aroma. The smoke is present, but not over-powering. I'd recommend this brew.
