A Brown ale that is fermented with a special Belgian Abbey yeast that gives this beer its Belgian character. There are six malts used along with Czech Styrian Golding and Saaz hops. Very malty and drinkable with little to no hop bitterness.

This beer was not bad but not what I hoped it would be. The body was light brown with an off-white head and lace. There was not really that much head and lace to speak of to honest. It had a strong candy sweet aroma. The taste was about the same a as the smell. It was sugary and not as rich as this style usually is. There were some roasted nutty tones that redeemed this beer in the taste department. As with almost all of the Flat Branch's beers that I have tried the body was thin and watery.

A - Poured a cloudy, light brown with burgandy hues. A small, thin white head left no lace, just some soapy residue.

S - It smelled of dried fruits, candy sugar, caramel malt and some spice.

T - It had a strong dried fruit taste (pear and plum) with a sweet caramel malt flavor. A potent spiciness added a nice kick.

M - It was a little thin and watery. A light to medium-bodied beer.

D - This was a very nice tasting beer. A good overall taste and aroma.
