This is our base American Pale brewed with New Zealand Pacific Gem hops. The brew has a light orange color with a substantial malt base that balances out the hop flavors. The hops impart a slight citrus flavor.

A - Poured out a clear, copper/bronze color with a three -finger tan, bubbly head of foam. It left some thin rings of lace.
S - It smelled grassy and citrusy, mostly orange. Some mild malt aromas.
T - It had a nice spicy, bitter hop bite. It had a good toasty flavor with sweet malt and citrus flavors.
M - It was crisp and sharp with a dry finish. A light to medium-bodied brew.
D - This is a pretty good APA. I'm glad I got to try it before it ran out.

Pours a clear, amber color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of hops and sweet malt. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and thick with an average to low carbonation level. Tastes of hops, sweet malt, slight earthy malt, biscuit, and slight nut flavor. Overall, a better body and blend than I was expecting from a pale ale - I highly recommend.
