This Dortmunder-style lager offers a unique twist on the classic German style. Brewed slightly stronger, it’s infused with the bold, earthy flavor of Pueblo chiles. Expect a crisp, golden body with a clean malt backbone, characteristic of a traditional Dortmunder, but layered with a subtle smokiness and peppery flavor. To contrast our house green chili ale, this beer is all chile flavor and no heat.

Draft at Flat Branch. Poured a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of spicy chiles, caramel and toffee. Spicy heat with some caramel sweentess.
