On draft at the source. The beer appears light golden with a thin white head. A nice sheet of lacing coats the glass. The aroma offers sweet honey, with a light malt bill and perhaps a touch of lemon. The flavor exceeded my expectations for sure. A tad sweet, but not cloying, at least not if you're only having one pint. Sweet honey throughout with a light body. A touch of floral hops and bitterness in the finish. One of the better offerings from Flat Branch.

A. Clear and effervescent, it looked like Bud Light.
S. Bready with some hints of honey. Slightly sweet with no hop smell.
T. Tastes about like it smells. It is very light with little to balance the honey.
M. About what I expected here, nothing special but it finishes clean.
D. Despite the fact that it was disappointing, I could drink this all day long if it was hot outside. I just don't think I would want to.

Pours a pale, golden/orange color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of wheat, citrus, coriander, yeast, and slight hops. Fits the style of an American Pale Wheat Ale on a broad range of characteristics. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of hops, citrus, slight honey, and some sweet malt. Overall, a very hoppy brew with only hints of honey and wheat. I'd say this is a fairly tasty APA, but does not fit the category of a wheat.

One of the best beers I've ever had at a brewpub, and by far the best micro brew in Central MO. Virtually all of Flat Branch's beers are at the very least good, and this is the cream of the crop making it an exceptional beer--especially in terms of session drinkability.

Appearance: It was a transparent gold with a very thin white head and almost no lace.
Smell: It had a weak aroma but what I could smell was sweetness with a little bit of a bitter fruit smell.
Taste: This beer is mad crazy sweet. There is some of your typical wheat tones mainly clove but it is overpowered by sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Another thin watery beer from these guys.
Drinkability: It is alright due to it watery thinness it is easy to drink.

A - Poured a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white, bubbly head. It left some trails of lace.
S - It smelled of sweet honey, some clove and some wheat.
T - Very sweet honey presence dominates the taste. The wheat flavor increases as it warms and the honey mellows.
M - It was crisp, sharp and a little dry. A light-bodied beer.
D - This is what it is, a sweet honey beer. Not my favorite style, but they did a fine job of achieving a sweet honey wheat.
