Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, yeast, slight roasted malt, slight hop, and a hint of bread dough. Fits the style of an Altbier. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong roasted malt, hint of sweet malt, slight floral hops, slight bread dough, and a hint of chocolate. Overall, there are subtle differences from other Altbiers' I have had (chocolate and stronger roasted malt than most). Appearance is lacking, but otherwise a good aroma, blend, and body.

Cloudy hazy copper-brown in color, roasty malty yeasty aroma, nice chocolate and caremel, pretty sweet with the hops noticable in the finish, clean and crisp, very balanced Alt, medium body with a silky soft mouthfeel, another good beer from this brewery.
