I had this on tap at the pub in Hanover, enjoyed chilled in a wheat glass.
The color is dark with translucent appearance with hazed clarity and thick beige cream. The aroma is strong with ripe banana and mild phenolic yeast ester with a spice accent and low sweetness in the aroma. The feel is lightly sweet with yeast full in texture with mild creamy feel and gentle alcohol in the finish.
The taste is fruity and semi-sweet with lightly toasty wheat and mild caramel flavors with low phenolics in the taste with mild spice and subtle tropical fruit tanginess in the yeast flavor with a finish on the sweet side. Overall a decent dunkle-moderately sweet but solid with nice yeast character.
