L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark amber color and a cloudy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy, off white head that quickly dissipated. Below average lacing.
S: An interesting aroma of hops, malt, a pronounced herbal quality, and chocolate.
T: Tasted of a tinge of malt, an average amount of hops, some light chocolate notes, a resinous quality, the aforementioned herbal quality, and a hint of caramel. One of the more interesting IPA flavors I've tried recently, though this is more in line with a spiced / herb beer. Still, it's oddly flavorful.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an unusually likable beer. If you want something offbeat, give this a shot.
